As you examine the player database, a brief reminder regarding "placeholders": If a player is available in the Yahoo! database but is not on the Draftime player list, the manager who wishes to draft him should designate a "placeholder" (typically, someone who is on IR or NA status) and post, in the draft discussion forum, the name and team of the player he/she actually wants to draft.

Also be mindful of players with identical or similar names, making sure that you select the correct team; for example:

Bull Hockey ... Stretching my memory back for the many years..this is best draft ever for Ira on a time/pick basis. I am truly impressed by his ability to keep this draft moving ... something that I can't say about my time/pick performance for this draft. Maybe my worst draft ever. Guess that makes me WDE , playing in a league governed by WCE

Sent email alert for round 16 from my home account (RoadRunner) Friday at 1:25 p.m. ET ... Doom's auto-pick is off, queue is unavailable. Hope the message didn't end up in spam folder.

I am, for the last couple of years working as an electrician (residential) usually new builds and for the most part don't have access to technology. If I don't get an email and haven't been I have no idea how the draft is going till I get home.
