The time has come for someone to put his foot down. And that foot is you.Mario LeMoose wrote:Round 11: Exercising the infamous double-secret probation clause and moving us along a bit.

"NA" Roster Position
Something new from Yahoo!: The capability to add an inactive (NA) position to rosters. I've posted this option as a poll on the league's home page, with a minimum of SEVEN "yes" votes from this league required.
==============================
NA status in Fantasy Baseball
Refers to: Fantasy Baseball
New to the Fantasy Baseball game this season is the "NA” roster slot. The "NA" position will allow you to place players there, rather than using a bench slot. This is especially useful for leagues that want to hold onto minor league players.
Resolution
The "NA" under injury notes stands for "Not Active."
This designation is used for the following situations:
Players who are holding out.
Players who are serving MLB suspensions
Players who have been sent to the minor leagues or are not on an official 40-man roster.
Example: Non-roster invitees to spring training.
Players who are injured for an indefinite amount of time but have not been placed on the official MLB Disabled List.
The NA designation does not prevent teams from adding a player through waivers or free agency, or placing a player in an active roster position.
***However, a player with NA status may not be available in a league that uses the setting "Wait until called up to Majors" for when new players become available.*** [This applies to our league.]
Player designations are updated each evening as information becomes available, so the NA status won't update until the day following their MLB debut. However, if a player is in an active roster position the day they play, stats accumulated will count toward the team totals regardless of their designation.
Note: Players with the NA designation are not eligible for the DL spot, but may instead be added to the NA position.

Re: [BASEBALL] Game of Itches
Only four managers have voted: two "yes" and two "doesn't matter to me." I'm looking for seven YES votes before changing the league settings. The poll can be found under Recent Messages on the league's home page; topic title: Should we add one NA (not active) position to rosters?jakerbelly wrote:Well the Juice is fine with it so now I guess we can all move forward!obarry25 wrote:I'm fine with the change...

I demand an up or down vote! I've got it on good authority that Flot and Funston are filibustering!Only four managers have voted: two "yes" and two "doesn't matter to me."
