[FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2016
And we're on! Good to finally get going.... in case you didn't see my email, I'm going to be in London/Paris from 8/27 for 8 days on business. I'll obviously try to leave queues when at all possible, but apologizing in advance for the delays. It's a good thing that I'm on the end, so I will definitely always have my 2nd pick queued up at the very least.
EE @ #2! Woa - has a rookie ever gone that high in our league?

Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2016
Dave lives and dies with his Cowboys but as good as any top 5 RB
Have a great trip Claudio.
I'm ready and pumped to draft and wash my bad FBB season taste away. Have a bunch of days off the next two weeks but should be able to queue it up to keep my end moving. Hope there are not too many stall outs but expecting frustration.
I think I can guess with 95% certainty who Bubba is taking this pick (not a kicker... Yet)

Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2016
I'm going to a race in Alton, VA over the weekend, but I should be able to keep pace. But might be a bit slow on Sunday during the race.
Alton is in the middle of nowhere VA, just hoping they have cell phone access
Based on the current pace, I'll probably only have one pick over the weekend anyway I had to do it, I wanted to be first at something during the fantasy year

I was hoping Johnson was going to fall all the way to 9. Nice pick Jeff! Good luck everyone!
Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2016
Surprised he made it to 1.08. Lots of WR in round 1, is it that more teams are committee-ing RB or that we do PPR or huge drop in the next tier? Who knows...jmeyer wrote:I was hoping Johnson was going to fall all the way to 9. Nice pick Jeff! Good luck everyone!
I love fantasy draft season. More fun then the actual games..

Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2016
I was surprised the first three picks went RB. The experts all had WR's at the top of the first round, usually Antonio Brown. I figured I would be better off with the #2 WR than the #4 RB.
Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2016
I agree... I hoped ODB would fall to me at #4... When I saw Antonio Brown there it was a no-brainer... Antonio Brown fell to me at #8 last year! Guy is arguably (or actually) consensus #1... I don't get it...Rockland Raiders wrote:I was surprised the first three picks went RB. The experts all had WR's at the top of the first round, usually Antonio Brown. And he can dance too
Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2016
So only a slight shot at me for killing the draft today. Not bad
I wanted to leave a two pick queue before I started the drive home but I have been so out of touch with everything the past week...internet, TV, sports. I have no idea who might have gotten hurt, suspended, etc. When I left West Yellowstone this morning I only had a couple minutes to check and I spent that researching Bell's suspension. Hoped to catch some access on the way home whenever we stopped in a town for gas but not one place on the entire 11 hour drive had a T-Mobile signal. Driving from North-West Wyoming to Colorado you might as well be driving on the moon. It is insane. We actually drove through a town that had a sign that said "Population 10". I kid you not
Anyway - I'm back! Ready for some football.

In the midst of a brutal audit at work so I'm trying to pay as much attention as I can...
Of course if Wrigley and Claudio keep emptying my queue it's not going to matter

Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2016
Looking at the other draft discussions going on here there are some good examples of league names. When Pigs Fly, Game of Throwns, etc... I posted a note on the ESPN site for ideas. When we have lag In the draft (like now) throw out some ideas on the forum if ya got em. Combining IT and football would be ideal like the Hackers thing with baseball. Anyone? Bueler? Anyone?
Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2016
I've looked for a clever programmer football tie in before. We can do this.
Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2016
I, Kevin White, am holding out and will not play for you Jeff...
Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2016
I didn't draft YOU, I drafted your son Kevin White!! He's all set to pay back his dad for not believing in himKSOLOIVE wrote:I, Kevin White, am holding out and will not play for you Jeff...

Anyone hear from Richie? Is he okay? Weird for him to drop off like this.

There was a major system outage yesterday and I'm sure he pulled an all nighter. Hopefully he can turn his attention back to the draft soon

A classic Kevin. I know Rich is tied up, so no worries here.
Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2016
Sorry for holding everything up guys. Am pulling a 2nd all nighter but have some breathing room now (3am) so I was able to make my picks.
Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2016
Never thought I'd draft a backup TE. Yet another sign of the apocalypse. Brian had to show me the forum link. This is the first 12 team draft I've been in. Very different, more difficult. I like it.
Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2016
Yeah and half the league already has drafted a kicker. I think I see a wall of frogs marching towards the cityKlausGut wrote:Never thought I'd draft a backup TE. Yet another sign of the apocalypse. Re: [FOOTBALL] Xerox hackers football 2016
I just added a player that was not on the DRAFTIME player list. In the past Jeff would add a scrub as a placeholder but it seems now there is an option to add someone. When you are up just click "add player" next to the search button. Make sure they are not on the list if you use this feature. You can look at the big list by clicking "Players" from the main draft screen. It says it will throw an error if you try and the player already exists or has already been drafted but if you spell the name differently it's on you. If it turns out that only the admin can do this and you want to draft someone not on the list email me and I will add him.

It would not be a XEROX Hacker Football draft without Doug Flutie loading up on Giants....

Too bad you didn't get their starting RB though...
