Lets get some good pre-season banter going

Picking third I figured I would end up with either McCaffrey or Ekeler. I would just take whoever was left. Derrick Henry going number two forced me to actually make a decision!

i think you made a good choice. I assumed i would miss out on McCaffrey and Ekeler, so i was expecting to take Henry... No complaints the way it played out.

As always, it comes down to injuries. you can't go wrong with any of the first 4 or 5 RB's...if they stay healthy.

i was hoping 1 of 5 RB would make it to me at 1.06, but oh well....... I always feel naked w/o a RB in round 1.. but i did pretty good last year (Adams rd 1, non RB in rd 2 too), so i am less anxious about that then past years.
Hoping Kupp can be just as studly for me this year.

I wanted Kupp, but decided on an RB was a better option for me this year
As for this round, I was hopeful of one of the QBs picked just before me, we’ll see how that works out.

All that zen and still a hater.
Love your draft though.. Solid first 4... Then we got some breathing room with the homer pick.

Joe snaking my picks Fournette and Montgomery in rounds 2 and 4 and then taking Burrow who I was targeting next go round who I think could be the top fantasy scorer this season

The running backs flew off the board in round 1 and early round 2. Once Chubb went off the board I knew I had to take Fournette because I was not enamored with what I may see in round 3 for an Rb 1.It hurt to pass on both Diggs and Adams. I immediately had buyers remorse but we will see. I already decided once I took Chase that I would target Burrow. I think I got lucky with that because the qbs started to go. My back plan was actually Hurts, every pick seems like a good pick.

Homer pick?!? Y'all know in his first full season as a starter, Hurts was the #1 fantasy QB last year for the first 11 weeks of the season till he hurt his foot. His ADP for half PPR leagues this year is 64th (61 in standard scoring). He wasn't gonna be there next time I picked. I feel great about my choice

Hope this works out better for you than it did in 2019:

Who am I
No guesses
That's Mr. Carson Wentz 2017 extrapolated out 16 games
He also had a career low 60% completion rate that year so I'm not such a "Homer" to think that, all things being equal, and injury free, he should better those numbers in 2019. With the talent he's got around him a 5th round pick is a steal to me
I really wanted to wait until the next turn but didn't want to take the chance and there were receivers I actually liked better in the next round then the round 5 group.
4400 yards and 45 TDs are not out of the question

Since my queue was emptied twice today I had to scramble. Figure maybe Brady has a little magic for Julio

Honestly feeling like the colts were a steal at 13.5, thoughts?

I did have them targeted as my next defense up. Such a crapshoot week-to-week with D/ST
