re: playoff format

Due to the uncertainty of star player availability in the last week of the season for rest/injury, I've seen a pretty quickly growing trend of finishing the playoffs a week early (Week 23).

I'm not going to push too hard on this one as I don't feel strongly enough about it, but I think the philosophy holds a lot of merit and would definitely be in favour of it.

If anyone has an alternate way to reach The Dienasty, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. Our draft has been stuck on his first-round pick all day. I have already sent two emails, with no action or reply.

Sorry about that everyone. We’re just coming out of a major Typhoon on my side of the world, had been preoccupied. Back on track.

Regarding the poll on playoffs, looks like both options end April 16. Assuming these are the only options, I would prefer the 6 team.

6 Teams ... Week 22, 23, 24 ends Thursday, April 16 (our current setting)

Week 21, 22, 23 ends Sunday, April 5 (supported by ira)

Yahoo offers other Sunday playoff "end" dates going back as early as March 8.

Hope you're alright Dienasty, we had a category 4 cyclone earlier this year down in Australia and lost power for about 3 days. Can be scary stuff!

re: playoffs, March 8 definitely seems like an overkill, I like the idea of April 5 though Nothing worse than the fantasy stress of a star player being held out for precautionary reasons in sometimes meaningless games

Thanks Ira, all limbs accounted for and we didn't even loose power, fortunately. Storm season gets crazier and crazier each year out here in SE Asia. Stay safe.
