The draft room is now open ... queue away!

As you examine the player database, a brief reminder regarding "placeholders": If a player is available in the Yahoo! database but is not on the Draftime player list, the manager who wishes to draft him should designate a "placeholder" (typically, someone who is on IR or NA status) and post, in the draft discussion forum, the name and team of the player he/she actually wants to draft.

Also be mindful of players with identical or similar names, making sure that you select the correct team; for example:

Backstrom, Nicklas, C, WAS
Backstrom, Niklas, G, MIN

Heads up to managers picking close to Ira's turn: Remember to take into consideration that he lives in Australia.

Using Sydney as an example: Sunday noon in U.S./Canada ET = Monday 4:00 a.m. in Sydney.

What time is it now?

Bull Hockey ... Stretching my memory back for the many years..this is best draft ever for Ira on a time/pick basis. I am truly impressed by his ability to keep this draft moving ... something that I can't say about my time/pick performance for this draft. Maybe my worst draft ever. Guess that makes me WDE  , playing in a league governed by WCE

My worst ever, and for the life of me every time my pick comes up, the autopick is "OFF" and time is wasted. I do not have immediate access and not am not getting emails suggesting that my turn is up. A little disappointed. Sorry to all.

Sent email alert for round 16 from my home account (RoadRunner) Friday at 1:25 p.m. ET ... Doom's auto-pick is off, queue is unavailable. Hope the message didn't end up in spam folder. :(

Do you (WCE) send any e-mails that don't deserve to wind up in spam folder?? :)

I am, for the last couple of years working as an electrician (residential) usually new builds and for the most part don't have access to technology. If I don't get an email and haven't been I have no idea how the draft is going till I get home.

Our draft is finished and teams are available at Yahoo!; In addition, the waiver priority order has been set to the inverse of the draft order.

Please check your team carefully; select January 19 to view the roster. If you notice any errors, please report them immediately. ("What was I thinking when I drafted what's-his-name?" doesn't count.)

Huge thanks to all for keeping the draft moving along so smoothly ... 204 picks in seven days without a clock. Wow!
