NEW FOR THIS LEAGUE:

Allow one end-of-draft replacement pick per team if, while the draft is underway, a manager loses a player to a confirmed season-ending injury. The replacement pick priority order will coordinate with the injured player's original draft position. Replacement picks must be identified within 24 hours following the conclusion of the draft.

(This is not a setting available in Yahoo; Commish Tools will be used to execute the replacement player transaction.)

Getting Started

Official draft start: Monday, March 16, 9:00 a.m. (Eastern)

• The draft will run without a time limit between picks for the first round, assuming no prolonged delays.
• After the first round, a time limit between picks will apply, if necessary, so that we do not fall behind pace.
Our goal is to complete the draft by April 2. The 2015 MLB season begins April 5.
• The overnight pause will be midnight to 9:00 a.m. Eastern; this is a daily pause, i.e., also includes Saturday-Sunday.
• We will be drafting on weekends.
• Add a secondary e-mail address, if you have one, to your Draftime user account to ensure that draft notification messages are received. Make sure your primary e-mail address on record with Draftime is a current one.
• Please do not post draft-related messages at Yahoo!; use this forum. If you need to get a private message to me, use the "PM" feature here, as I rarely check my personal (rr.com) e-mail account during work hours.
• Managers with the first and last draft positions in each round have a single clock, not double time, for their picks.

All draft picks are restricted to players in the current Yahoo! pool for our league at the time your turn occurs. Please remember that the Draftime player list is not customized by league. If you have any questions regarding a player's eligibility, take a moment to check the Yahoo! player list for our league before you draft him. "Placeholders" are not allowed.

Slacker penalty: Evil Commish reserves the authority to impose reduced clock time upon any manager who repeatedly misses his/her turn. Such an extreme measure should not be necessary, given the auto-pick options available in Draftime.

Draft Room Is Open

The draft room is now open so that managers can review the player list and set queues. Player selection begins Monday morning.

Setting Upcoming Pick Notification

If you haven't already taken advantage of the "Upcoming Pick Notification" alert, please consider setting one to notify you when your turn is a couple of picks away. Here's how:

Log into your Draftime account and, from the links across the top of the page, click "Edit Account." Next, click "Manage Email Notifications." Two choices are available. Under "Upcoming Pick Notification," set a number of picks before *your* next pick, then click the Edit button. You should see the following message in green type: "Preference Updated: Upcoming Pick Notification X Pick(s) Before." (X represents the number of picks that you selected.) It's that easy!

Curby....Bumgarner.....you are such a homer. I should have drafted Beltre. WCE will probably draft Lester or Ellsbury, not knowing they have been traded to real baseball teams. :P

Geez, I thought that Ellsbury and Lester signed with their current teams as free agents. Thanks for setting me straight, Taxman!

ok ok...let's quibble with vocabulary...... each now plays for a team (whether by trade, free agency or the grace of the baseball gawds) not having sold the greatest ball player of any era.

Hope this doesn't "TAX" your rhetoric ability....but knock that one down your mooseness

I am missing the banter that was a part of the draft in past years. Did it all stop in my absence last year and ATHS is now a serious game of fantasy.

Curby owes you a comeback for the Bumgarner dig, that's for sure.

I don't think Curby is following the Forum this year. Based on the left coast (PST) time he is able to enter his picks, looks like he is drawing the late shift at his resort. Hate it that people have to work for a living.

I see a time limit (clock) between picks in our future. :|

Our draft is done and results have been updated at Yahoo. Please check your roster carefully (go to March 30 or a later date) and report discrepancies, if any, before undrafted players become free agents. In addition, the waiver order has been set to the inverse of the draft order.

Good luck!
