A couple of hiccups but we are off and already we have a reacher

I like the reacher pick - drops someone in my lap that I wasn't sure I would be able to get at 1.7 :)

Yeah...it changes everything. I almost made a queue the the two guys I was expecting to be available at 6, but then I just made a 6 player queue so I wouldn't get surprised, which I happily was when I saw that I got OBJ.

I got an email that Rick is traveling today and didn't have time to set a queue. He said he should be able to make a pick by 2pm EST.

Let's pick up the pace a bit. Seems like nobody is ready when their pick comes up. Set your queues especially when there are only a couple picks before you are up and you know you might not be available.

Some one is not taking your advice about setting queues. I'm not perfect on that subject either though.

Note to all...the clock showing when I (Rockland Raiders) am picking is off by 3 hours :)

well, before I packed the car last night I did have a queue, but was emptied before leaving FLA for NC this morning.... The PC was under most everything in a neatly packed trunk, so I wasn't about unload everything and pick someone, not at 4:00 in the morning. Most drafts, I barely hit an hour total. I did give Brian a heads up, sorry for the delay.

Wondering where Ez Elliot was going to fall. 6 game suspension and bye week means he does not play until week 8. I think where he fell is about where he is going ADP

Yeah - figured I'd take a shot at EE in the 3rd - and maybe he gets the suspension reduced to 4 games

As a husband and a father with two daughters and one granddaughter I'm trying to avoid guys who hit women. Unfortunately, you end up eliminating a bunch of jerks.

Are folks into this league or not. Several pauses. Long waits between picks.

It's like we entered a time wrap and it's 2011 --- 1 pick per day :x

This draft is painful.............we need to change this and go to the timed format. In this day and age it's not that hard to get 12 guys in front of a computer for 3 or 4 hours one night............

Relax Rich...we got 3 rounds in yesterday...I think we've found our stride. I vote to keep the current format. Why condense the best part of fantasy sports to 3 or 4 hours? If we can't all be in the same room this is the way to go.

Even though this years draft is taking longer than prior drafts, I still love the anxiety of waiting for my pick and the heart break when my guy gets scooped up right before I pick. Like in round 1, how didn't David Johnson fall to me at pick 10, totally ruined my day.

Daz- I like the fact that you got the number 1 Rb and number 1 QB. I just hate the fact that I got to run that gauntlet twice.

It's probably the fact that I have to wait so long between picks. I'm getting impatient in my old age

I cannot believe how many times the guy I wanted went one or two picks before my turn. We're at a point in the draft where people are taking chances and gut feel picks yet Claudio and 007 have been cleaning out my queues time and again

Claudio... you emptied my 1 player queue I made last night about 10 picks ago (Hogan)! Maybe I shouldn't draft so fast

Ha yeah, I know. I've had a few players snapped up right before I was going to pick them (Cousins, Winston).

Just a thought for next year, maybe we have the draft after the 3rd exhibition game, so big-time injuries (Ware, Edelman) don't significantly impact the draft?
