On the Clock

Post by Mario LeMoose » Tue Mar 08, 2011 11:07 pm

We're now on the clock, with a limit of five hours between picks.

If jakerella has not made a selection by the time the overnight pause goes into effect  , we'll be moving along to the next team.

FYI, my email address for jaker is no longer valid, I tried pinging him this morning and it bounced.

I have a valid e-mail address for jaker and have sent him several messages.

The temptation exists to just start filling his roster with NYY players, as that's probably what he'd be doing anyway.

Taking a gamble on Greinke. he scares me a little this year, and being injured to start the season.

Squeezing the Clock

Post by Mario LeMoose » Mon Mar 14, 2011 8:48 pm

When we get past Adrian's round eight selection, I plan to cut an hour off the time limit between picks.

Also, I will be stuck in a workshop Tuesday afternoon with no computer access from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. (Eastern). Play nice while I'm away.

Please note this adjustment made for jaker (citing queue issues):
Jorge Posada, C, replaces Joel Zumaya, RP

Round 9 - Jaker

Post by Mario LeMoose » Wed Mar 16, 2011 8:58 am

I've skipped Jaker's pick in round 9, as he has not made any selections on his own until after 10:00 p.m. (one that occurred mid-day was made by me, from his queue). Such is the life of a vampire.

Jaker's queue is currently unavailable, so I was unable to draft on his behalf. We're moving along to Ellis.

I hate it when the guy before you is almost ready to time out (in this case about 10 minutes left), and then the pause goes into effect.....SIGH......

I will have my queue available for you east coasters, so you won't have to wait until I wake my ugly ass up to pick.

If anyone wants Sean Rodriguez, I will trade him for your next pick. I meant to draft one of Aviles and Rodriguez, but got both. I should have used the pick specific queue but I have been a little busy. Anyway, anyone that wants him can have him. Thanks.

In other news, my wife gave birth to our 4th child Sunday morning. All are well.
