Yeah, Jeff, according to my undercover league spies, this is what Wrigbone has hiding up his sleeve (I think he stole it from Richie).
Too bad you didn't wait until today to post that one Slash. The funny thing is that mag is echoing my sentiments exactly. Yes I used my 1st two picks on pitchers but I will put my offensive line-up against anybody right now 8)

He shook-a me up, he took me by surprise.
He had a pickup truck, and the

He stared at me and I felt a change.
Time meant nothing, never would again.

I generally like drafting the most reliable closer in baseball history's backup in the 13th round too.

Great line. I was laughing so hard, the guy in the next office thought I was having a stroke.

I don't know whats worse...having to wait on average 3.6 hours for Kevin to pick or waiting only an hour and a half to see him snatch my next pick

I'm looking at the average time between picks in this league (64 minutes as of about 8pm today) vrs another league that I'm in that is also using this site for their draft, and their average time is 52 minutes. Less then 15 minutes difference. I don't see anyone whining about that league's time between picks and its getting really old seeing the whines here.

Yeah, but this is the deal every year. Brian and I are overly impatient and crack jokes about it to amuse eachother. You do not enjoy our impatience. Jeff plays the good cop/bad cop perfectly by saying it's a work league and that not everyone cares as about as the next guy, 0and we all move along accordingly.

And yeah, the keeper league doesn't have a forum thread here, but I've gotten many IMs, texts and e-mails [BLEEP] about Sirted who decides not set a queue when he's on the West Coast and has a job unable to check the draft from his phone. I send him a message every other night at this point haha. Blah. But really though, 15 minutes PER pick over a 20 something round draft definitely adds up.

I think if you wait two plus hours during the day, then you should be more than ready with you picks during the evening, which I don't see to be the case so far during this draft. Yes, it is moving quicker than last year, but I would like us to be get done early enough that we could actually make a trade before the season start if two parties are willing to do so.

Kudos to Wrigbone on the Gio Gonzalez pick. I had him targeted but was hoping he would slide another round or so. He's getting no respect from the analysts. I also liked the Myers pick by Phillie Brett. Probably would have taken him next round. That's one of the good things about this league; guys reaching further down the cheat sheets.

Thanks Rock. I would have liked to wait a maybe one more round but some of our guys are pretty savvy and don't always believe the so called experts. I think someone would have snatched him up soon. I was also considering Hellickson but its rare that rookie starters make it through a clean season. I do like the pick though Steve!

Tabata was to be my sleeper this year but those freakin fantasy analysts have given him too much love for whatever reason and he has become a sleeper no more. I picked him up at the end of last year and he played well.

I actually like the Wieters pick Jeff. He is worth the chance...but could end up another Jeff Clement

Made my day to load my phone and see AJ Burnett and Jeremy Guthrie at a wrap. Priceless.

I think both Burnett and Guthrie might very well have good years, but I think one could have waited and gotten either one as a free agent (or last 2 picks of the draft).

Left an instant pick queue for my 16.9 selection. If it swings to Round 17, will have to wait on me until late tonight or early tomorrow morning.

Interesting draft so far.... several managers have busted out of their usual drafting styles/patterns and have made it different (including me with 2 Catchers in my first 14 picks - rather than waiting to pick up my first one in Round 20). We'll see how it washes out....

Clearly Zimmerman is a Pitcher and not a catcher.... I will see how I get that fixed!!! Sorry, I hit the button before it changed the position.

I could make some sort of "your so two thousand and late" chirp about your Zambrano, Peavy, and Bedard picks.... But Peavy was on my queue. Also after seeing Bedard should get a rotation slot, I think it is a great rd 16 roll of the dice.
