FYI, I know Rich L (Rockland Raiders) is on vacation this week (Seattle I think), but I did leave a msg on his cell. Hopefully he is not flying back today and can check in pretty soon.

So I picked Titan's Chris Johnson right after the guy in our pool from Tennessee (Greg) who saw him play all last season bypasses him. I'm hoping last year's poor performance was the fluke and he's ripe for a rebound.

Sorry I held up the draft a bit. Returned from the west coast this morning and collapsed into bed, only to be awoken by our ever vigilant commish's phone call.

I see from the subsequent picks that others are as un-enthused by the running backs as I am. After the first four taken no one seemed worth the fifth pick, so I went with Rodgers who was great for me last year. I love his consistancy.

Jeff, good luck with Chris Johnson. He was a pleasure to own last year....NOT!

So the big question for me in the 1st round is not who do I take. It's do I hold my breath? - do I go to lunch? - do I wait patiently? - or do I just set a queue and watch as my picks get auto drafted and then the draft sits at pick 14 for the rest of the day? Decisions decisions :?:  :?:

Brian and I picking with Lacuna in between us. Man, I didn't know Jeff was so good at practical jokes! Haha. At least we can "fill out are starting lineup" with kickers and D/ST in Round 7 and 8 right?

I leave a one man queue REACH pick - go to lunch - and Bubba Gump takes him after over two hours of waiting.

Break a leg McFadden

I think Chris Johnson that late is a steal Jeff. I thought I was gonna have to take Rodgers at 4(or at least I planned to) but I had McCoy fall right in my lap. I think Mcfadden plays 16 games this year. J'Lucky is ready to defend the title this year.

Good luck with that CJ2K pick Commissioner Goldberg. I almost picked him, but had flash backs of last year. He looked good in his game tonight in preseason.

Good luck everyone!!

Ok, Chris Johnson just compared himself to Lebron James in an interview. He said that he is going to come back like Lebron did. Wow, I really messed up by not picking CJ up on the draft.

I'm gonna be golfing the next 2 days so I'll be checking in from my phone, but just a random warning cause sometimes my phone dies before I finish. I know weekends are slower usually anyway.

Hey dumbass (lol) I was sure you were gonna take one of the Falcons receivers on the turn but I though you would go for the upside guy instead of the safe one. Either way I also knew Bubba would take one of the Giant wide outs so I was taking whichever Atlanta guy you didn't. Happy with Julio and knowing he could be the next Megatron and has the potential to be fantasy football's top scoring WR this year.

With Rodgers and Jordy Nelson I guess it's official - I'm rooting for the Packers this year. At least I can enjoy one team wearing green and white!

And Rich - you stole Bowe from me! I had a feeling that you were going to take him, but I wanted Colston ahead of him and was good with Brown as a consolation..

I really feel like if you looked it up, I draft next to Jeff an awful lot. And boy oh boy did I knowwwww he would take Brandon Lloyd haha. I'm glad to get my hometown guy in Stevie, but definitely liked Lloyd's upside vs. Stevie's safe floor.

I'm shocked Desean would go before any of the last 5 WR's taken. Something tells me Brett must have never actually owned him in a league. Because you know, it's SO MUCH fun. Other than that, it's about normal compared to the mocks and most competitive leagues I've done.

Love Claudio's team. Wait a second, just wake me up some year when I actually dislike Claudio's team and that'll be news to me.
