What were the max acquisitions per season/week last year?

Re: [BASEBALL] About Time Hardball Starts XI
Last season, each team had a maximum of 35 waiver wire/free acquisitions for the entire season; no weekly limit. Taxman could use all 35 transactions in a single week.Toral wrote:What were the max acquisitions per season/week last year?
It's worth noting that the term "week" refers to a Yahoo! fantasy week, which might be more than seven calendar days in duration. During all-star break time, for example, Week 15 is fourteen calendar days (July 8-21) but the weekly transaction limit remains the same as for a seven-day fantasy week.

Thanx. Let the streaming begin!

Getting Started
Official draft start: Wednesday, March 13, 9:00 a.m. EDT
• The draft will run without a time limit between picks for the first round, assuming no prolonged delays.
• After the first round, a four-hour limit between picks will apply so that we do not fall behind pace.
• The overnight pause will be midnight to 9:00 a.m. Eastern; this is a daily pause, i.e., also includes Saturday-Sunday.
• We will be drafting on weekends.
• Add a secondary e-mail address, if you have one, to your Draftime user account to ensure that draft notification messages are received. Make sure your primary e-mail address on record with Draftime is a current one.
• Please do not post draft-related messages at Yahoo!; use this forum. If you need to get a private message to me, use the "PM" feature here, as I rarely check my personal (rr.com) e-mail account during work hours.
• Managers with the #1 and #10 draft positions in each round have a single clock, not double time, for their picks.
All draft picks are restricted to players in the current Yahoo! pool for our league at the time your turn occurs. Please remember that the Draftime player list is not customized by league. If you have any questions regarding a player's eligibility, take a moment to check the Yahoo! player list for our league before you draft him. "Placeholders" are not allowed.
Slacker penalty: Evil Commish reserves the authority to impose reduced clock time upon any manager who repeatedly misses his/her turn. Such an extreme measure should not be necessary, given the auto-pick options available in Draftime.

On the Clock
All managers should have received a Draftime-generated email but, just to make it official: we now have a four-hour limit between picks.
Re: [BASEBALL] About Time Hardball Starts XI
Whoa. Given that the official draftstart wasn't supposed to be until Wednesday, isn't this Stakhanovite draft clock a bit precipitous? Yes, I read the fine print about "after the first round" etc. We have a smaller draft than most and are already ahead of most RIBC drafts.
Doesn't matter to me, as I won't miss any picks. I wish to wash my hands of any guilt, however.

But you were the only one who took longer than 1 hour and 15 minutes or so.
was this meant for our other draft?

Commish....I know no one is counting..AND we are almost finished with no real time worries..BUTT:
Tony just ran the clock for the second time. Sets a bad precedent to ignore it, or does it?

Maybe Tony will surface just in time to snatch the next player at the top of your queue.Taxman wrote:Commish....I know no one is counting..AND we are almost finished with no real time worries..BUTT:

Gerrit Cole is not available in our league (checked Yahoo!) ... going to need a repick.
Re: [BASEBALL] About Time Hardball Starts XI
Don't mean to say I told you so, but....SO
and anybody taking from my queue, assuming I had one, well they would be justly rewarded as my drafts have rewarded me.

We're done!
Teams are now available at Yahoo! Please check your roster carefully and report discrepancies, if any, before undrafted players become free agents.
