Kev - Brady and P Manning together at last.. I can see you trading one later to someone desperate so not a horrible move

Just texted Rob because he is hitting the 4 hour mark... Asked that he have his next round pick ready since it is right after Claudio at the turn. Overall we are moving great but the long stalls still should be avoided.

No reply but hopefully it picks up soon. If I can make picks so far this draft on the beach, at the Yankee game, and on the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty and interrupt my week off, then I can get a little snooty when we do not get the same courtesies

I have never owned Eli. I hope he can pick up where he left off last season. I was thinking Kev may corner the market on qb's so I felt I had to take him. Its only the 8th round but I feel like everyone has been picked. Its crazy how you wait on someone and they are about to make it back to you and boom they go either 2 or 3 picks before you go. I did that with Brady, Im surprised Kev took him, No Giant fan would ever pick Brady.... Traitor

You are wrong, Joe - No Jet fan would/should take Brady -- a Giants fan, on the otherhand, would just beat him.. Something Jets fan know little about. So I understand how you got that one wrong.

As a sign of confidence in the Jets, I have not even considered drafting any Patriots.

When the Jets stink I have allowed myself to draft Pats (Brady almost single handedly won my league in the Randy Moss year.

I am old enough to remember Super Bowl glory, but it is rough being a Jets (Mets/Knicks/Rangers...how pathetic) fan :|

Just as FYI - Anyone can adjust the position of a player, even after drafting him.
Go to draft Home and then select your team, select the player, and edit position :D

Next season I'm setting up a second fake draft just for Bubba and am going to make him wait for days between picks :)

Just a little fun while we wait... In Bizzaro world - this conversation happened....

League: I don't understand. Didn't you vouch for him?
Jerry: I did vouch for him, I just can't guarantee he will do what he's supposed to do.
League: But the vouching provides assurances that he will do what he's supposed to do. That's why you vouched.
Jerry: I think we know why we vouched.
League: I don't think you do. You see, you know how to *give* the vouch, you just don't know how to *uphold* the vouch. And that's really the most important part of the vouching: the upholding. Anybody can just *give* assurances.

Thank you, thank you... I'll be here all week (waiting to pick)

I just sent Rob a really abnoxious email. Maybe I should just let it go but I got peved that he took 8 hours then knowing he took so long did not even consider trying to queue up a second pick for three picks later, or even care that the two picks after his were auto picked and he was back up right away.

Maybe I was just annoyed because Claudio and Lauren always seem to grab the players I had queued up (not the kicker)

I think Lacuna is looking to hold the total clock record in Draftime history. You know one of those records that will never be broken. This will rank up there with WIlt's 100 point game, Dimaggio's hit streak, Gretzky's point total, and Ted WIlliams's 406 batting average.

OMG, u all crack me... keep it going. I felt extremely bad last Sunday when the Draft started a day early(I know, Jeff said it would), and I was driving from Conn. back home to NC, but stopping in Long Pond PA to watch the Indy Car Race.

It really didn't understand making a pick, watching the next two auto-pick and then a delay....oh well, I guess I'll just keep coming back every 8 hours or so to see if picks are made.... it will be hard to top this time 42:24:55

Jeff - you have every right to send that email. You always defend him when I say he does this crap on purpose. I think we have reached the point where we auto pick the lowest ranked kicker for him. I guarantee he is about to take his second kicker next anyway. Let's just do it. This isn't right. Stand up for ourselves here guys. He has his core group so it wouldn't kill his team.
