Knowing we started a day early May have caught some off guard. Just looking at the projected finish we’ll need to do much better, and that is with Jeff and me doing auto picks.

Well my evil plan  to snatch Miles Sanders and Clyde Edwards Helaire with the 1st two picks is dead

Getting both guys would have been an embarrassment of riches, but the main thing was to get one of them. Hope I picked the right one. What a difference a year makes. Last year I drafted Sanders middle to late rounds...now
he's a first rounder.

Wrigs... I guess my plan of drafting Helaire and Chubb in rounds 1 and 2 is dead :)

I had Sanders, Chubb, and Helaire in my top 13. No one was likely to get two... but Wrigbone did at 16.. NICE.... And Mixon is a nice plan B... i do not buy his holdout or migranes. Nice Rockland!.

Speaking of RB.... this is the first time in my memory i did not go RB, RB, RB 1-2-and-3, and usually play TE roulette with lower 'projects'. The TE Kelce dropping to 21 was too appealing for me... so why the heck stick to a formula. So we'll see how this plays out.

No one will ever second guess you taking Kelce at 21.

I was staring at Kelce and Julio as the backs were flying off the board. I was more then happy to take Julio at 22.

I hate drafting side by side with Joe... we always seem to be looking at the same players.

I thought with covid we would be chatting it up more this year...

Claudio - I think you are crazy taking Kareem Hunt with this pick  I hope you don't prove me wrong

Jeff - die hard with David Johnson buddy :?

Should we take bets as to when Kevin takes an RB? I'm sure he has a master plan at work :)

YES! David Johnson.... why not take a flier... ok one should not take fliers in the 3rd round. But honestly he has RB1 potential.. he is also fragile as a crystal vase and could get lost in that offense.. but what the [BLEEP]... AND I AM DEFENDING CHAMP BY THE WAY...

I like Kevin's "west coast offense". Who needs running backs? I don't know what he'll do this year now that he cannot draft Eil Manning.

Brian - I love JuJu.... he is a top tier guy and a steal. But I am not on the school of thought = "team a guy up with Brady and he's gold". The guy does spread the ball around a lot.. and the Moss comparison... UM....NO

Greg shocked me 1.01. Look Saquon is a clear 1.02, but still....

Kas having a real good draft... is this the same dude that took all Detroit Lions last year?

I think I'd have Joe's exact team if I drafted where he did. I also like Rockland's picks.. i think we use the same cheat sheets

Brian - yep, taking Hunt was risky there, but at worst I see him getting a lot more time than people expect (I hope). His great receiving skills will get him in the game plan a lot (he averaged the 21st most PPG last season)

At best, good insurance in case of something happening to Chubbsie and he instantly becomes a top-5 RB. We'll see :)

No school of thought process here Champ! Big fast body that wins 50/50 balls most of the time. Is that not Moss like?!? Brady will look his way early and often. I didn't pull this out of any magazine. He was a top target for me coming into this draft no matter where I picked. Most prognosticators are all in on Godwin. He'll be good for my guy drawing coverage, but this is Mike Evens' year. Who wants to bet :D

Personally, I never liked Evan's, but I was looking his way, he has huge talent. With Brady, I think he'll have a better attitude, my reasoning for not liking him. And Brady does spread the ball out, but that never stopped folks from getting Edelman and Gronk early in previous drafts. They both could be huge points.

I'm counting on Godwin getting the volume, like Edelman.

I actually like the Hunt pick. I had him ranked as a 6th rounder and going in the 5th is reasonable especially with his skill set. I almost took him round 5, but went with Sutton.
Hey Wrigs, what are they saying about Sutton in Denver?

Does Brady have enough left to make both Godwin and Evans productive? It was tough to pass on Godwin In the third. There was so much talent of wide receivers who went off the board in the third. I think Wrigs did score with Evans and Juju.

I ended up going running back in round three, and was staring at Dj and Connor. If Dj stays healthy then Jeff got a steal.
Now we get to the rounds where leagues are won.
